Throughout my career, my work has always had the consistent threads of focusing on faith, leadership, and clear communication.

I’m a writer, speaker, and ministry leader who asks questions, tells stories, and makes room for the complicated parts of following Jesus. I write and speak about faith, identity, calling, leadership, disappointment, church, culture, and the questions that surface when what we believe collides with what we’re actually living.

For 17 years, I’ve worked in vocational ministry, serving both in the local church and at the state denominational level. I’ve led teams, communicated vision, developed resources, written curriculum for all ages, equipped ministry leaders, and worked alongside hundreds of churches. Those experiences have deepened my love for the Church and given me a pretty good understanding of the messy, beautiful, complicated people who make up the Church.

I’m also the founder of Ministry Communications Co., where I help churches communicate with greater clarity and intention, and the creator and host of Let’s Talk About Why, a podcast built around the big questions of faith, theology, culture, and life.

At the heart of all I do is a belief that meaningful ideas deserve to be communicated with clarity, creativity, and care, and that the right words can open the door to deeper conversations and deeper faith.
